The plain-words terms for buying and using Parts of Me. Please read them alongside the licence terms and the privacy page.

Parts of Me is published by Concinnity Limited, a New Zealand company. It is written by Angela M. Carter, a Registered Social Worker and IFS trained therapist, and illustrated by Aaron Randy. When these terms say “we” or “us”, they mean Concinnity Limited.
You are buying a licence to use digital files: PDFs and audio that you open and download from your members area. Nothing is posted to you. The paperback of the book is a separate product sold by Amazon under Amazon’s own terms.
As soon as your payment goes through, we email you a login for your members area and a paid invoice. Your files are ready to open straight away. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, please check your junk or spam folder, then get in touch and we will help.
Because Parts of Me is a digital product that you can open and download as soon as you buy, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. Please look through the collection pages and the list of what is inside before you buy.
If something goes wrong, such as a file that will not open, or you believe you were charged in error, please tell us what has happened. We will listen, talk it through with you and do our best to put it right. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law, in New Zealand or where you live.
Each licence is for one named person and for the setting it was made for: one household, one teacher and their own classroom, or one practitioner and the clients they personally support. The full details, including what you may print and share, are on the licence terms page. The copyright in the book, illustrations, activities, cards, posters, guides and audio stays with Angela M. Carter and Aaron Randy.
Parts of Me is an educational and creative resource that gives children and the adults who care for them a gentle shared language for feelings and behaviour. It is not therapy, counselling, or medical or psychological advice, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. It is not a replacement for professional support.
If you are concerned about a child’s safety or wellbeing, please speak with a qualified professional or your local services. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number. Practitioners use the materials within their own training, scope of practice and professional obligations, and remain responsible for their own clinical judgement.
We have taken great care to make Parts of Me clear and helpful, and we provide it as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the collection concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits anything that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your rights under consumer law.
We may improve or update the files in the collections, and we may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. The terms that applied when you bought are the terms that apply to your purchase.
These terms are governed by the law of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts can decide any dispute. This does not remove any rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
If anything here is unclear, please ask before you buy. Email us. You can also find answers to common questions on the contact and help page.
